WHO AM I?

You might be wondering what the frames on my homepage holding my projects are, or if you're a crocheter, you may know exactly what they are. The framings holding my projects are called "granny squares." I think of them as the building blocks of crochet, as they can be sewn together to create new pieces. One of my greatest hobbies, art forms, and stress-relievers is crochet. I began crocheting in 2021 when my grandma and friend taught me how to make simple hats. Since then, my passion for crochet has grown, allowing me to complete more advanced projects like clothing, blankets, and stuffed creatures. My creative hobbies fuel my interest in digital design because both allow me to express myself. Crocheting and digital design are intertwined for me, each inspiring and enhancing the other.

Most people know me as Olivia, but now that you've gotten to know me a bit better you can call me Livi B. This nickname started at my childhood summer camp to set me apart from all the other "Olivias" and it just stuck, becoming a cherished part of who I am. The "B" initially stood for my last name, Bransford, but over the years, it's come to represent so much more about my life and journey.

The B in Livi B stands for:

  • Bold-thinker - Innovative and unafraid to think outside the box.

  • Brave - Willing to take on new challenges and lead initiatives.

  • Baby- That time I played a baby in a play in front of 200 people even though I have intense stage fright

  • Bubbly - Having a lively and cheerful personality.

  • Boulder- My beloved college town

  • Bracelets- Knots and strings, one of the first arts and crafts projects I found love for

  • Boundless - Having a wide range of skills and interests.
